Available Northwest University Education Scholarships


Excellence in Christian Education (amounts vary)

Open to new MIT applicants who:

  • teach at an accredited K- 8 or K-12 Christian school in Washington State
  • provide a letter of recommendation from the head school administrator (Principal or Superintendent)
  • complete the COE Scholarship Application, including the relevant essay

Diversifying Washington Teachers (amounts vary)

Open to new MIT applicants who:

  • belong to an under-represented ethnic minority group and
  • complete the COE Scholarship Application, including the relevant essay.
  • COE will consider educational and work experience, GPA, and financial need

Veterans in the Classroom (amounts vary)

Open to new MIT applicants who:

  • have served honorably in the military and
  • complete the COE Scholarship Application, including the relevant essay.
  • COE will consider educational and work experience, GPA, and financial need

Women in STEM (amounts vary)

Open to new, female MIT applicants who:

  • pursue an endorsement in a STEM subject and
  • complete the COE Scholarship Application, including the relevant essay.
  • COE will consider educational and work experience, GPA, and financial need

Men in K-8 (amounts vary)

Open to new, male MIT applicants who:

  • pursue an elementary endorsement and
  • complete the COE Scholarship Application, including the relevant essay.
  • COE will consider educational and work experience, GPA, and financial need
