Online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Local Roots, Online Classes, Global Impact.

The online Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Northwest University’s Mark and Huldah Buntain College of Nursing provides RNs with skills in clinical judgment, leadership, case management, community health, and global health. You will integrate cross-cultural effectiveness, faith integration, and a holistic assessment of health in your professional practice. The online delivery method allows you to fit your academic pursuit with your work schedule and personal obligations. A variety of practice experiences will enrich your understanding of the roles of nurses at clinical agencies within driving distance of your home. Although an online student, you are welcome to interact with university nursing educators in person on the Kirkland, Washington campus. Achieving a BSN at NU will expand your career opportunities and open the door to graduate education.

Hear From a Student

“I had my official nursing training when I was in Japan. So after I started working here…I feel like everyone has a hard time understanding me in the language skills or I always had a lower self-esteem, but through this program I was able to increase my confidence. My writing skills are better. This confidence really helps me in my nursing practice. Each material that the professor provided was very useful. I can use the materials in my daily [nursing] practice.”

Tomoko Nagata

RN–BSN Student
