Ashley was a cardiac medical-surgical nurse at St. Joseph Medical Center for 14 years and worked as a home hospice nurse with Multicare for three years. She established Hummingbird Medical Resources in Belize, and hosted Buntain College of Nursing students for cross-cultural nursing experience, as well as, lead volunteer medical mission teams providing home care in villages throughout Belize. She has also been involved in blood donation campaigns with the Belize Red Cross.
