Dr. Jenny Harris

Dr. Harris is known for her expertise in child, adolescent, and adult trauma assessments. She has experience treating individuals with severe mental illness in state hospitals settings. She has 16 years of experience treating and researching adolescent substance use disorders. She utilizes motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and harm reduction approaches.
Education and Experience
Dr. Harris earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in forensic psychology from Seattle Pacific University in 2012 and a BA from Eastern Washington University in psychology in 2006.
Dr. Harris served as Director of Clinical Training in the PsyD program at Northwest University from 2017 to 2020. She has taught a variety of clinical classes such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and substance use interventions. Her full-time private practice focuses on criminal and civil forensic evaluations.
