Background
I have been teaching at Northwest University since 1999. Prior to that I spent eight years in administration in a private, Christian high school in Seattle. Starting in 1969 I worked at a small Christian college in San Francisco for twenty years teaching courses in general psychology, psychology of religion, CS Lewis, psychology of helping relations, growth games, and physical activity classes; I was also involved in student development serving as Dean of Men and then Dean of Students; other involvements included serving as Athletic Director and Varsity Basketball coach.
Additionally, I have served regularly in pulpit supply at various churches and have served as a conference speaker. I also meet with school faculty for in-service programs.
Hobbies include reading mysteries and books on faith, which can be similar; jogging. I have been married since 1977 and have three adult daughters, and one granddaughter.
