Background

Brooke Lundquist graduated with her BA in English from Seattle Pacific University in 2003 and during her undergraduate work, she spent a quarter studying abroad in Angers, France. Brooke obtained her MA in Counseling Psychology (MACP) from Northwest University in 2007. After graduating with her MA degree, Brooke began working for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) at Northwest University as the Internship Coordinator for the MACP program and then moved into the Director of MA Programs in the CSBS shortly thereafter. Brooke continues to work in the CSBS as the Director of Academic Programs, overseeing the staff of the CSBS, managing the departmental budget, and helping with the administration of all CSBS programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, Brooke became faculty at NU in the fall of 2014 and is currently the Chair of the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program where she also teaches several courses. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at Oregon State University where her doctoral work focuses on counselor education and supervision.

Brooke’s husband Ryan is a Lieutenant firefighter/paramedic for Snohomish County Fire District 7. He is also in graduate school working on his MBA and they have two daughters. As a family they love to spend time outdoors (swimming, hiking, playing at the park) and can often be found building forts, playing puzzles, or baking together. Brooke and Ryan are also active in Crossfit and they enjoy travelling when time allows.
