Background
Dr. Granger brings with her a diverse and extensive background in nursing education. Having taught in both online and on ground nursing programs at all levels (associate, undergraduate, master’s and doctoral), Dr. Granger is most passionate about working to form genuine connections with students and helping them to achieve their full potential.
In her decades of experience, Dr. Granger has done many course and program revisions at colleges and universities across the nation. She is also passionate about interprofessional collaboration. In her most recent position, she was on faculty at the University of Southern California where she helped to develop the nation’s first online family nurse practitioner program housed in a school of social work.
As a family nurse practitioner, Dr. Granger has worked extensively with the adolescent and young adult homeless population in King County and on Whidbey Island. She has a heart for adolescents and young adults struggling to find identity and purpose in their lives.
