The President's Banquet
This year's President's Banquet was a memorable evening—a community of friends filled with joy and hope and gratitude. As our students reflected their love for Jesus in praise and worship during the musical performance, you could feel the Holy Spirit moving in the room.
Dr. Castleberry's 100-year vision for the University was inspirational. Every speaker added to the evening, from Alumnus of the Year Tim Knapp to our guest speaker, Kemper Freeman Jr. Our friend, Hattie Kauffman, was a wonderful emcee and advocate.
Your generosity was amazing. The final number includes several generous gifts contributed since the banquet, bringing our total to nearly half a million dollars: $489,000 raised. And all of it goes to help our students!
None of this would have been possible without you. From all of us at Northwest University, we thank you. To quote Libby Absten, the student speaker at this year's event: "These students are standing on your shoulders."
