Assistant Coach for Women’s Soccer (Part Time)

Position Summary
Assist the head coach in all operations of the women’s soccer program.
Essential Functions
- Assists head coach with organizing practice and game training
- Recruitment of quality student/athletes
- Assists head coach with game preparation and strategy
- Organizes and monitors off-season workouts
- Monitors academic progress for student athletes
- Assists head coach with spiritual formation
- Knowledge of and adherence to NAIA/NCCAA rules and regulations
Education/Experience/Skills
REQUIRED:
- Two to three years of playing experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal skills
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogen Training, with acceptable verification thereof
PREFERRED:
- Two to three years of playing experience
- Proven quality organizational and leadership skills
- Proven interpersonal and written and verbal presentation skills
Compensation: Based on education and experience pay range will be contracted between $1,000 - $4,000
Physical Demands
The functions are usually performed while standing, but may involve some amount of time sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting (max. of 40 lbs.), walking, carrying, reaching, stretching, climbing, perform repetitive motions of the hands or wrists and other movements. The abilities of seeing, hearing and speaking are also required.
