Position Summary

32 hour per week position in the CSBS characterized by oversight and facilitation of all prospective PsyD student recruiting, application processing, and enrollment as well as providing ongoing cohort care and community building within the PsyD program.  Represents the CSBS’ PsyD program to prospective students, other universities and organizations, and within the institution. 

Essential Functions

  1. Serve as the CSBS prospective student contact for PsyD programs 
  2. Maintain prospective student database and tracking system 
  3. Track, maintain, and manage all applications for PsyD programs 
  4. Organize and oversee application review board meetings for PsyD programs
  5. Research, plan, and attend college fairs and other recruiting events and complete corresponding accounting paperwork 
  6. Provide support to current PsyD students and organize community building events 
  7. Research, evaluate, and implement best practices in graduate student recruiting strategies 
  8. Co-host university-wide and CSBS on campus graduate recruiting and orientation events 
  9. Facilitate all prospective student related mailings (including information packets, posters, career center packets, etc.)
  10. In conjunction with the MA Director of Student Services, network with marketing on CSBS publications and marketing initiatives and provide content and editing as necessary 
  11. Maintain program records, as needed for accreditation, on student enrollment, retention, demographic, and outcome data 
  12. Oversees PsyD program’s public webpages and works with marketing to ensure all public information is up-to-date and necessary outcome data is posted annually 
  13. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills

  1. Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and creative abilities and skills.
  2. Ability to work independently and manage essential job functions.
  3. Capability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in the profession.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interview and presentation skills.
  5. Willingness to be flexible and accommodate program needs after general business hours.
  6. Preferred MA in behavioral science related field.
  7. Preferred sales, marketing, or customer service experience.
  8. Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe work environment free of harassment, violence, and unlawful discrimination.
  9. Ability to communicate effectively, get along well with co-workers, and deal effectively and professionally with colleagues.
