What would I say to someone thinking about the program at Northwest? Definitely do it. It's a great program; the courses are very applicable to education today. The professors and the curriculum are outstanding.

Why Choose Northwest University
Flexible and Worker-Friendly
Designed for educators who are working full time, the on-campus classes meet during the evenings, on Saturdays, and over the summer months. Most of our M.Ed. courses are also hybrid classes. This means you’ll only meet at NU once or twice a month, with other learning taking place online. It’s the best of both worlds: face-to-face interaction with professors and colleagues, without fighting traffic every week.
Career Advancement
Increasingly, advanced degrees are common, if not necessary, in private and public school settings. Our M.Ed. offers you increased expertise, which often leads to increased leadership opportunities in schools and at the district level.
Affordable
An education that will advance your career is more affordable than you might think. In fact, our tuition is among the most competitive you’ll find. And, once you’ve graduated, there’s a good chance that a pay raise will accompany your accomplishment.
Quality Education
You’ll learn from experienced professors, as well as master practitioners teaching in local schools. A master’s degree from NU’s College of Education is highly regarded in the profession and will give you the practical tools you’re looking for.
