Why should I transfer to NU?
Northwest University is a fully accredited private Christian university located on the Eastside of Seattle in Kirkland, WA within walking distance from Lake Washington. Our incredible location gives NU students plenty of opportunities for both adventure and career advancement. We are committed to academic excellence, and offer over 70 different programs to help our students to the next level. In addition to our students’ academic growth, we also care deeply about their spiritual growth. Students’ spiritual growth is fostered in a caring community of believers taking classes that integrate with their faith. Read more reasons why you should transfer to NU.
Will NU accept my college credits?
In most cases, yes! We want to give you as much credit as possible for work that you have already completed at another institution. This is one of the reasons why we've restructured our general education requirements to be more flexible for transfer students. For example, for most degrees NU requires 9 semester credits of Social Science, but you may choose to take any combination of two disciplines: Business, Communication, Education, Management, and many others. With this added flexibility you can take more of the classes you want while still completing your degree on time.
