NUhope Staff

NUhope Community Counseling Center Staff

After you contact NUhope, you will be connected to an intake coordinator who will discuss your circumstances and then assign you to a therapist based upon your needs and therapist availability. All NUhope therapists place the development of a strong, caring, compassionate therapy relationship as a high priority and believe this relationship is the foundation of healing. Each NUhope therapist is trained in one or more of the following therapies: traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression and anxiety, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) for eating disorders, Gottman Method Couples Therapy (GMCT) for couples counseling, or Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). All NUhope therapists are supervised by licensed psychologists with many years of experience in the practice of psychology.
