Dr. Kim Lampson
Dr. Lampson is passionate about teaching the next generation of psychologists to be exemplary clinicians who form strong, caring relationships with each individual in their caseloads, who uphold the highest standards of ethical practice, and who study and utilize evidence based therapies to help those who desire their services.
Education and Training
Dr. Lampson received her Bachelor of Science in Higher Education Administration from the University of New Hampshire, a Master’s in Education in College Student Personnel from the University of Georgia, and a PhD in psychology from the University of Washington. Prior to accepting a faculty position at Northwest University in 2010, she was in full time private practice as a licensed psychologist. Currently she is professor of graduate psychology at NU and has a part-time private practice in Mercer Island.
Dr. Lampson enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children, taking ballet classes, and writing. Her first novel, Petey, was published in 2016.
