Shaping Leaders Who Shape Culture
The objective of the Master of Arts in Bible and Theology is to immerse students in an integrated, comprehensive arts approach to a theological graduate education that includes theology, philosophy, history, and biblical studies. Here, you’ll build the necessary skills to effectively engage with cultural trends, social transformation, and the challenges facing the church. The MABT will help you develop thinking and practice that is biblically informed and creatively faithful to the historic mission of the Christian faith.
Culturally Relevant. Biblically Sound.
When Jason Deuman was looking for a graduate degree in theology, he wanted one that would challenge him to effectively engage with today's culture. Most importantly, he sought a program that was biblically sound. He found both with our M.A. in Bible and Theology program. "I was taught by great professors who were always willing to wrestle with tough questions—but always from a biblical perspective. At NU, I learned how to think and teach the Bible well."
