But sometimes the cost of tuition can keep people from pursuing their academic goals. For over 80 years, we've been providing our students with an affordable path toward earning a college degree. Grants

Students who show a direct need for assistance may qualify for grants, such as the Federal Pell Grant, to help support their academic pursuits. Grants generally do not have to be paid back to the issuer.

Military Benefits

Active-duty service members and veterans may be eligible for a variety of education benefits based on their length of service and branch, which can be applied toward a college education. Most military benefits do not have to be repaid. Contact your local VA office to determine your benefit eligibility.

Federal Loans

Federal financial assistance provides an accessible way to afford your college tuition through low-interest loans; however, they must be paid back after you graduate, or when you leave the university or drop below half-time. Federal Direct Loans are the most common type of federal loans available to students.

Scholarships

Students can earn scholarships offered by civic organizations, religious organizations, and trade associations to help afford college. Some of these outside scholarships may be found at www.fastweb.com or similar sites.
