Most students wrestle with the answer to the question of what they want to do after college. This common conversation piece involves some really big life considerations: career, faith, family, hobbies, hopes, goals, and dreams. Yet the question is not so much about an unknown someday. Instead, God prepares us in the present. Through the following steps, your journey to campus becomes just as important as life after college.
A new study by U.S. News & World Report lists Washington as "the best state in America." The findings in this article, written by Levi Pulkkinen, show that the economy in Washington is growing faster than any other state in the country. The findings are partly due to the many tech giants that reside in the Seattle area, including Microsoft and Amazon, as well as Washington's agricultural strength with apples and hops. But based on these findings, the most significant contributor to Washington's healthy economy is clean energy.

When we examine the life of Jesus, we see that he cared immensely about developing people. Our Savior was deeply committed to ensuring that those around him had what they needed to walk fully in their calling. Through Jesus’ relationship with his disciples, we come to know him as an influencer, teacher, mentor, and servant. These leadership characteristics enabled him to lead and develop future leaders with the capacity to advance the Kingdom of Heaven.
As the end of the academic year nears, graduating students and their loved ones eagerly await the 2018 Commencement Ceremony.
This year’s graduation festivities kick off with the Baccalaureate Chapel on Friday, April 27, and conclude with the 2018 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 5.
