Dr. Debbie Lamm Bray Published in Influence Magazine
Dr. Debbie Lamm Bray, director of Northwest University’s Oregon Campus, recently had an article published in Influence Magazine. The piece, titled “The Walls We Build: Considering the Biblical Evidence about Women in Ministry and Leadership,” takes a scholarly look at scripture and the culture of ministry today. The prevalence of other interpretations of Scripture on this matter calls for us to understand the biblical passages and theological principles that lead some groups to ordain women and encourage women to preach, teach, and pastor. Study is necessary in order to reach our own conclusion and help others understand our position and practice. Honest questions are not threatening to God.
