The program will prepare students who are academically trained and service-oriented to meet the healthcare needs of urban, rural and underserved communities. The program will provide students with a rigorous, hands-on learning experience necessary to become a critical part of the interprofessional healthcare team. NU is committed to learner success and provides students with state-of-the art technology and competent faculty who maintain clinical practice in addition to teaching. Highly experienced medical experts serve as guest lecturers for specialty content areas to enhance student opportunity for educational exposure.
Our Location
The School of PA Medicine is located on the Kirkland, Washington campus, just blocks away from beautiful Lake Washington. The Olympic Mountains can be seen across the lake in the distance. The PA program will be housed in the 6710 professional building (6710 108th Ave NE., Kirkland, WA.) on the second and third floor. Construction will begin in 2023 and anticipate completion by the fall. Fun fact: The Seattle Seahawks spring training field was once located on our campus. The field and administrative building are utilized to this day.
