KIRKLAND, Wash. — Northwest University has announced that former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will be the guest of honor at the Fifth Annual Eagle Hall of Fame Benefit on Friday, March 27, 2015. Hasselbeck, who led the Seattle Seahawks to six playoff appearances and Super Bowl XL, will be participating in a Q&A at the event, which benefits and supports scholarships for student athletes.

Hasselbeck was a three-time Pro Bowl quarterback for the Seahawks and currently plays for the Indianapolis Colts. He also holds the distinction of being the Seahawks’ all-time highest-rated passer at 83.3, ahead of Dave Krieg.

The Eagle Hall of Fame Benefit will be held at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency, and tickets are available to the public. The evening begins with a silent auction at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner, the Hall of Fame induction, and the live auction at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support scholarships for student athletes at Northwest University in the seven intercollegiate sports currently offered by the school.

This year’s inductees into the Eagle Hall of Fame will be Shelly Schu-Beach (NU ‘87–‘91), a two-sport athlete, and Bryan Chud (NU ‘99–‘03) from men’s soccer.

Registration and Event Details

Event sponsorship opportunities are available and include VIP tickets for a pre-event reception and a photo opportunity with Matt Hasselbeck.
