What was your education experience like prior to NU?
"I had attended two schools before transferring to NU. First a community college in my hometown, and then a state university. The classes were easy at the community college, but it didn’t feel like individual and academic excellence was a priority. The state university had a higher standard for academics, yet the relationships between the faculty and students felt forced and insincere.
Then I found Northwest University."
Why did you chose NU?
"I found a healthy balance and the environment I was looking for. I saw that professors truly cared for students, but also pushed their students to new levels of academic excellence. The 'busy work' the other schools had promoted was replaced at NU with dynamic activities and projects that inspired me and pushed me to grow.
Just the other day, one of my professors saw me studying and walked over to me, sat down, and began a twenty-minute conversation with me, ending in prayer.
This is what makes NU different: incredible professors, dynamic and challenging curriculum that encourages development, and a community of people that are driven to change the world."
