New NU Students at Fall Orientation
This week Northwest University welcomed the freshman class of 2018 onto its beautiful fifty-six acre campus. Orientation began on Wednesday, when current NU students, faculty, and staff met each loaded car and helped to quickly unload, carry, and move belongings into the dorms. The week included dozens of planned activities, all designed to help students feel welcome on campus and familiar with Northwest. Some of these activities were a barbecue for new students and their families, a 2018 class photo, an afternoon of service in the city of Kirkland, and a night of community worship. A candlelit march on Sunday, August 24th concluded orientation, just in time for classes to begin on Monday, August 25th. Welcome to Northwest University, Class of 2018!
