It’s here! New Student Orientation 2016: Thursday, August 25 – Sunday, August 28. The coming school year is set to be a remarkable one.

Orientation takes place over four days. Day 1 is all about being welcomed into the NU community. Once you check in, it’s time to move in! Head to your residence hall, where you’ll be directed to your room. Later in the day, there’s the NU welcome, a time of worship, and the community picnic.

Day 2 focuses on academic excellence. You will hear a message from the provost about what it means to be a faith-informed community of learners. Afterwards, it’s time to say goodbye to loved ones and set forth on your new journey.

Day 3 emphasizes the importance of empowered engagement. At NU, there are countless ways to get plugged into the community and make an impact. The day concludes with one of orientation’s most exciting events, the group scavenger hunt.

On Day 4, you’ll learn about NU’s commitment to spiritual vitality by participating in one of Northwest University’s most beloved traditions. The candlelight service is a time of coming together as a community in worship and praying for the coming year.

Remember, during orientation there will be people willing to help at every turn. We couldn’t be more excited to have new students on campus. See you at orientation!
