Northwest University Expands College in High School Opportunities
High school students looking to challenge themselves academically and get a head start on completing college courses can now earn university credit through Northwest University's new Early College Online program.
Beginning this fall, eligible sophomores, juniors, and seniors can enroll in select Northwest University online courses at a discounted rate of just $99 per credit. Students can earn college credits before high school graduation while experiencing Northwest University's Christ-centered approach to education.
Participating in the Early College Online program can help students build confidence in their ability to succeed at the college level, strengthen time management and study skills, and explore academic interests before enrolling full-time in college. Earning university credits during high school can also help reduce the overall cost of a college degree and create greater flexibility in a student's future academic plan.
Courses are offered in a flexible eight-week format with weekly assignments that students can complete on their own schedule. Early College Online is a great option for students with an open class period, those seeking additional academic opportunities, or anyone looking to make the most of their high school experience.
Students can choose from a variety of introductory college courses, including Christian Scriptures, Foundations of Christian Faith, Composition I, General Psychology and more.
Through Early College Online, students will learn from Northwest University's Christ-centered faculty while gaining valuable experience in university-level coursework. They will be challenged academically while growing in their understanding of faith, leadership, and purpose.
