Pastor Judah Smith Speaks at Northwest University
On October 14, the Northwest University community invited University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University students to Kirkland for Monday evening Pursuit service. Students had the opportunity to worship with Crossing, NU's student-led worship band, and to hear The City Church Pastor Judah Smith’s message entitled "Don't Take What Is Yours."
That night, Judah spoke about the issue of fairness. He outlined the parable Jesus preaches in Matthew 20 about the workers in the vineyard. The crux of his powerful message: "Life comes down to two choices in God’s kingdom: you take what you believe you deserve or you trust what you get is yours."
After the service, the Kirkland Tacos El Guero truck pulled up outside Butterfield Chapel where Pursuit takes place. This gave students from NU, UW, and SPU the opportunity to make new friends over some delicious, local Mexican food.
Special Thanks to Pastor Judah for Speaking at NU!
Excited to be @northwestu tonight at 8pm!
