Pursuit Conference 2015 Recap

NU’s annual Pursuit Conference took place Feb. 9–11. Although the speakers and worship leaders change each year, the mission of this conference remains the same. The Pursuit Conference is an opportunity for students to learn what it means to be pursued by God and to pursue God fully.

Tyler Sollie, the Northwest Ministry Network district youth director, kicked off this year’s conference on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 with a powerful message about thirsting for God. Sollie encouraged students to recognize that “the only solution to our unlimited neediness is an unlimited savior.”

Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, students heard from Pastor Krist Wilde from Capital Christian Center in Idaho. On Tuesday night, Wilde spoke about Jesus feeding the 5,000 with the intent of inspiring students to define their lives by their God-given potential instead of only seeing their problems. The conference concluded on Wednesday with a message about the power of living a life of gratitude, and students left with increased boldness to pursue all that God has for them.
