Screaming Eagles Week 2017 Highlights

If you were to ask our students what their favorite thing about NU is, there’s a good chance they would say the NU community. As a small, Christian college, we believe that a strong sense of community is absolutely crucial. This means that we make very intentional efforts and choices to make sure every student finds a place to belong.

One specific way we do this is through Screaming Eagles Week (SEW), a week-long competition between all of the living areas on campus. Events during the week include competitive dodgeball, a music video competition, and an evening of mini-games called Floor Olympics. The competition fast-tracks friendships and takes place during the fall semester so everyone has a chance to get to know each other early in the school year.
