Background

Professor Nelson loves and abides in Jesus. Reared in Spokane, he lives in Seattle. He enjoys teaching and practicing law (Nelson Law Group PLLC), and is blessed to encourage, counsel, share Jesus, and love others. A lifelong learner, he graduated from Whitman College (BA Economics; History minor, 84’), the University of Notre Dame Law School (JD, 88’), and Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div., 13’). Treasuring opportunities to serve, Brother Nelson does so alongside many courts, clients, businesses, and ministries, such as: Young Life, the Union Gospel Mission, a volunteer King County Correctional Facility Chaplain, an appointed Superior Court Arbitrator, an Honor Corp Allied Attorney with the Alliance Defending Freedom, and friend of Restore Leadership Academy, who has kindly gifted him two audacious Honorary Degrees.
