Charting the Future: Kekoa Cerbana

Many of you know that I published a new book last fall titled The Sixth Great Awakening and the Coming Renewal of the American Church. You may have heard me speak about my fervent belief that we are training, right now, the pastors and leaders who will carry forth the momentum of 20 centuries of gospel advance and save our society from the ruin of unbelief into which so many have fallen. Our country has gotten itself into a cultural mess, casting off the past with its failures while also rejecting the habits of the heart and the values that led to today’s world and to the highest standards of human wellbeing ever known in all of history. How will we avert disaster if we abandon the Christian values that built our society?

America—and the whole world—needs Jesus! Our society also needs well-trained Christian leaders who can lead people to Jesus, pray for them, and guide them in the deepest values of our faith. Kekoa Cerbana provides a wonderful example. Called to serve God and society as a middle school teacher, he represents thousands of NU alumni who are carrying their faith into the world with sincerity and sacrifice and a vision for a better world.

I hope you’ll watch Kekoa’s testimony and rejoice with us. Thanks for your support of Northwest University and our students! Together, we’re fulfilling the mission of God, meeting human needs, and making God’s heart glad!
