Charting the Future: Ben Sigman
I hope you are enjoying summer (if you’re in the northern hemisphere—lots of our alumni are in the Global South!). This week we feature a video of Ben Sigman, our chief advancement officer, sharing why he works at Northwest University. Until recently, Ben served as pastor at Timberlake Church in Redmond, a very large church, and as chief advancement officer at another university. When I asked him to leave his work at the other school and invest his time in us—for the future of the church in the Great Northwest—he saw it as a divine moment of opportunity.
Since coming to Northwest, he has made a great impact! His wisdom, experience, charisma, and talent combine in just the right way to bring just what we needed. I hope you’ll listen to his testimony and get to know him personally over the course of this year.
Finally, I am happy to announce that Northwest University enters its 90th year of operations in August of this year. Throughout the year, you’ll see special commemorations and events to celebrate this significant milestone. May the Lord return this year! But if not, may He give us 90 more years of service to the mission of God!
