Short Bio:
I transferred to Northwest University after earning my Associate's degree from a community college in Oregon, where I was dually enrolled as a high school and college student. Prior to that I was homeschooled up to age 16. In my free time, I love attending concerts and spending time with animals, especially cats, cows, and chickens!

Favorite aspect of NU:
The people here genuinely love Jesus and others, just as we have been called to do. It’s the place where I met my husband, made deep friendships, and have had life-changing guidance from faculty and staff.

On my bookshelf:
Watchmen by Alan Moore; The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas; Goodbye, Again by Jonny Sun; MARCH by John Lewis; and The Craft of Lyric Writing by Sheila Davis. 

Favorite food:
An off-menu item called the Football Burrito, which is from Ixtapa, a restaurant in my hometown. 

Favorite place in Seattle:
The Space Needle! I had always dreamed of going inside to see the city view and it was just as amazing as I’d hoped. 

Favorite coffee/non-coffee order:
I love an iced caramel macchiato (if it has oat milk) but I will literally drink any tea you put in front of me, especially if it’s chai!

Favorite holiday:
Halloween! For me, Spooky Season is the best time of the year, and I’d have it year-round if I could.

Favorite sport:
My favorite to play was volleyball and my favorite to watch is basketball.

What you might not know about me:
I have a 5-foot-tall plastic skeleton named Sheldon who had shotgun rights to the passenger seat of my car for four years. During that time, we transitioned through two different cars and lived in two different states. However, he now has his own place at home, as my husband needs the seat.
