Chapel Stories: Reid Jarrell

Reid Jarrell

Hi, my name is Reid Jarrell, and I’m a recent graduate of Northwest University.

During my time there, I was so blessed by the experience of being in the chapel and the spiritual community that was there. I have a lot of fond memories just of being there with friends. Some of my best friends I actually met at a Pursuit worship service there, and there were lots of events that happened and took place in the chapel.

One of the things that’s really special to me about the chapel are the services they would have and just the way that God was moving in the hearts of each student there.

I remember particularly one day when I had just received news that a friend of mine had passed away while I was in the middle of chapel. I looked up, and through all the thoughts that were swirling in my head, I heard God speak to me through the speaker who was there.

It was as if that message was just for me and exactly what I needed to hear.

I was just so thankful for experiences like that at Northwest, where God was using the people there to build His kingdom and equip the students who were there and everyone involved.

It was a really meaningful experience for me, and I’m very thankful for it.

Watch as NU alum Reid Jarrell shares his story about why the chapel has meant so much to him.
