Facilities Overview

Auditorium, Butterfield Chapel

The Chapel Auditorium is the heart of the Northwest University campus as it seats 456 guests and is a regular gathering location for our students and guests alike. The Chapel creates an intimate atmosphere regardless of audience size and is the perfect location for conferences, musical performances, recitals, lectures, trainings and large-scale business meetings. The auditorium is fully equipped with audio visual technology along with custom sound and lighting to meet your event needs.

Auditorium, Argue Health and Sciences Center

The auditorium seats up to 154 guests with theatre style seating in this comfortable yet professional space great for conferences, meetings or lectures. The room is equipped with audio visual technology and is located in the Argue Health and Sciences Center near seven other SMART Classrooms along with ample parking for your guests.

Lodging, Northwest University Residence Halls

Lodging is available from the middle of May through the end of July. Lodging areas are built as residence halls and are furnished with beds, dressers and desks with chairs.

Note that all rooms have at least two twin long beds.

Millard Theatre, Millard Hall

Located at the center of campus, Millard Theatre features theatre style seating and can accommodate up to 200 guests. Equipped with a custom sound system and lighting to enhance your event or performance, it is a wonderful venue for performances, plays or recitals.

In addition to Millard Theatre, Millard Hall has various classrooms that can accommodate 40–50 guests.

Pavilion (Gymnasium)

This 7,500 square foot facility with bleacher options and floor space can seat over 600 and is a versatile space that can be used as an exhibit hall, banquet room or tournament for your next sporting event.

SMART Classrooms, Argue Health and Sciences Center

The Argue Health and Sciences Center is home to 4 SMART classrooms, 2 computer labs, and 1 board room equipped with audio visual technology including LCD projector, computer, teaching station, and a DVD/VCR. The classrooms seat between 25–60 guests and can be converted to a set-up that fits the needs of your group.

The Aerie, Pecota Student Center

The Aerie Cafe is located in the Pecota Student Center near the center of campus and has a full-service espresso bar as well as sandwiches and other snack offerings. Arrangements can be made to open the Cafe's espresso bar after hours or reserve the comfortable space for a casual gathering or meeting.

The Caf (The Lodge Dining Center)

The Northwest University Dining Center is located near the residence halls and seats up to 240 guests. It is available to outside groups over the summer for camps or conferences including breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet lines.
