Payments and Late Charges for Undergraduate Students
Notification of your statement will be sent to the student’s Northwest University email address at the beginning of each month. The statements will show activity on the account for that month only. For the most up to date information, please view the Transactions and Running Balance page located on your Eagle Profile.
Northwest University requires that payment for all semester charges, tuition and fees, be paid in full on or before the first day of classes each term.
There are a few ways to make a payment:
You can pay in person on the first floor of the Davis Administration building (cash, credit/debit, check), or over phone 425-889-5241.
Log-on to Student Account Balance and make a payment. This site will not list an owing balance, it is just a payment site, so you will need to be prepared with the amount you want to pay and you will need your student ID.

Enrollment with Tuition Management Systems (TMS)
Annual or 10-month payment plan through TMS allows you to pay your education expenses in smaller, more manageable monthly installments, and can be used in addition to financial aid.
A budget is set up with this outside agency based on estimated charges less estimated financial aid (excluding work study) for the entire school year (a semester plan is also available). To see your estimated net balance owed refer to your Cost Estimate and Financial Aid Award letter. If you did not file for financial aid please contact Student Financial Services for costs.
For example: If your estimated net balance owed is $12,000 for the year, $6,000 per term, you would have 12 payments of $1,000 if signed up for the 12 month plan or 10 payments of $1,200 if signed up for the 10 month plan.
- Available March 5th: 12 Month Plan - Enrollment deadline May 15th of each year.
- Available May 29th: 10 Month Plan - Enrollment deadline July 15th of each year.
The first payment must be received by TMS no later than May 15th (12-pay plan) or July 15th (10-pay plan). If you enroll after the first payment is due, the preceding payments are due at the time of enrollment in the payment plan.
- $125 enrollment fee is due on enrollment in payment plan
- Set up Auto Pay to avoid additional fees
- You can adjust your TMS budget at any time
- Payments due on the 15th of each month to avoid late fees
- If your estimated net balance owed is less than $2,500 per term, you may have other options, please contact Student Financial Services
Enroll in the Tuition Management Service.
A late fee of 1.5% of the owing balance will be assessed after the payment due date.
You will be unable to register for future quarters or obtain official academic transcripts or diplomas until your outstanding balance is paid in full.
If unpaid, the owing balance may be referred to a collection agency. You will be responsible for those additional fees of up to 40% or more added to your outstanding balance.
