Music Scholarship Auditions

Northwest University is pleased to offer Music Scholarships to talented musicians (instrumental and vocal) for participation in a designated musical ensemble and private lessons during enrollment. Amounts vary by instrument and ensemble at the discretion of Music department faculty and are awarded for a maximum of eight semesters. Find out more about these music scholarships.

Music Scholarships are available to incoming first-year and transfer students and are generally determined by live audition with Music department faculty. Out-of-state students who are unable to travel to audition may be allowed to audition remotely on a case-by-case basis. Applications are due by March 1, 2026. The Music department will contact you to coordinate a time for your audition. Auditions will take place on March 6, starting at 8:30am and ending in the early afternoon, depending on when your audition timeslot is and if you choose to stay for the afternoon activities.
