Music Auditions

Northwest University is pleased to offer Music Scholarships to talented musicians (instrumental and vocal) for participation in a musical ensemble during enrollment. Amounts vary by instrument and ensemble at the discretion of Music Department faculty and are awarded for a maximum of eight semesters.

Music Scholarships are generally determined by live audition with Music Department faculty. However, due to COVID-19 circumstances, auditions for Fall 2021 will be submitted by video and have a follow-up virtual interview.

Please review the Music Scholarship Audition Info and Requirements.

Video submission and virtual interview dates:

  • Submit your application and video by Friday, January 22, 2021 at 5pm for virtual interviews on Friday, January 29, 2021.
  • Submit your application and video by Friday, February 12, 2021 at 5pm for virtual interviews on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Someone in the Music Department will reach out to you to coordinate a time for your virtual interview.

Please contact the Admissions Office for assistance with any questions at 800-669-3781 or visit@northwestu.edu.
