Explore your interests. Meet your professors. Be considered for a scholarship.
Friday, March 19, 2027 from 8:30am – 4:30pm
The Program Scholarship Event gives admitted students a chance to explore academic life at Northwest University. Meet professors and current students, take part in activities related to your interests, and picture what studying at NU could look like for you. You do not need to have chosen a major to participate.
Invited students may be considered for a Program Scholarship of $1,000–$4,000 per year, renewable for up to four years. Award amounts are determined through evaluation during scholarship activities.
What to expect
You’ll connect with faculty in your areas of interest, meet other prospective students, and participate in discussions and activities that bring NU’s academic programs to life. Come ready to ask questions and explore your options.
Available To
The Program Scholarship Event is open by invitation to admitted Kirkland campus first-year students, including Running Start students, and transfer students.
Students with a cumulative high school or college GPA of 3.0 or higher may be considered for an invitation. Students below 3.0 may be invited if space is available. An invitation or participation does not guarantee a scholarship award.
To Apply
Complete your Northwest University application and admission requirements by March 1 to be considered for an invitation to the Program Scholarship Event.
Award and Renewal
The Program Scholarship ranges from $1,000–$4,000 per year and may be renewed for up to four years, or eight consecutive semesters, for students in good standing. To renew, recipients must enroll full time and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA at NU.
Music Scholarship auditions
Interested in music? Auditions are also available for students seeking a Music Scholarship. Music Scholarships range from $1,000–$5,000 per year and are available to incoming first-year and transfer students. Awards are based on an audition and ongoing participation requirements.
Let Admissions know you’re interested in a Music Scholarship audition so the team can help you arrange the next steps.
