This exclusive one-day experience is crafted specifically for admitted students who are ready to take a deeper dive into the major or program that excites them most. Whether you're confident in your chosen field or still exploring options, this event is for you (no need to officially commit to a major to participate).
What to Expect
You'll spend the day engaging directly with professors, connecting with current students, and participating in hands-on activities and discussions that bring your academic interests to life. This isn’t a lecture—it’s a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like to study your passion at NU. Expect rich conversation, interactive learning, and a welcoming environment where your questions are valued and your goals matter. Whether you're drawn to business, ministry, psychology, nursing, education, or any of NU’s other exceptional programs, this is your chance to step into the classroom, experience the culture, and imagine your future here.
Award Amount
$1,000–$4,000 per year (renewable for up to 4 years). The scholarship is available a maximum of eight consecutive semesters for scholars in good standing.

Undergraduate Kirkland Campus First-Year and Running Start Students
Undergraduate Kirkland Campus Transfer Students
Eligibility
Program scholarships participants are selected through the invitational Program Scholarship Event, an on-campus, one-day event held each spring. Students must be admitted to Northwest University to be considered for an invitation.
Deadline
All eligibility requirements must be met by March 1st.
Application
A submitted Northwest University application is required for the Program Scholarship Event. Students will complete the application online.
Renewal
Must be enrolled for full-time study and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA at Northwest University.
