Admissions Ambassadors are NU students. They are community focused—live in the residence halls, in student leadership, and actively engaged in fun whether that’s Screaming Eagles Week or NU’s Orchestra. They are Christ-committed to attend worship nights, lead life groups, and actively disciple each other in spiritual formation. They are career empowered with learning opportunities in their major, tutors for classes, and building career-ready skills. They represent the authentic Northwest experience.

Yasmine Ameioud
Hometown: Agadir, Morocco
Major: History and Politics
Interests: Traveling, cooking, music and learning new things.
About Me: I am a History and Politics major. I was born and raised in Morocco. I moved to the United States when I was 16 years old. One of my passions in life is advocating for people. I have always dreamed of being a lawyer and having the ability to serve people so they can have their voices heard. My goal is to work for a non-profit law firm and give people access to law services that they cannot afford otherwise. During my time at Northwest, I have met many incredible people, including professors who continuously support my dream, and life-long friends.

Josh Booth
Hometown: Snohomish, WA
Major: Pastoral Ministry
Interests: Singing, hanging out with friends, movies, church ministry, and collecting Legos and Funko pops.
About Me: I am double majoring in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies with a minor in Church and Ministry Leadership. The Church and my faith are very important to me. Experiencing fellowship and building meaningful relationships are some of my deepest values. I love helping people—whether that’s by talking, serving, or listening. When I am not at church, I love to hang out with friends and family. This includes traveling and going on adventures, watching movies, and binge-watching TV shows. I also love food, (although I am quite picky) and going on late night food runs with friends!

I'm excited to develop my professional skills and connect with so many of you. I also enjoy hiking, spending time with my friends and family, golfing, doing anything outdoors, and reading.

Hannah Lleras
Hometown: Tacoma, WA
Major: Worship Ministry
Interests: Spending time with my mom and siblings, getting coffee with friends, walking around Costco or Target, swimming, baking for holidays, and I love the color purple.
About Me: I am a Worship Ministry Major. Picking a major was not an easy decision for me. I started out as a Nursing major because I knew I wanted to help people. Then I changed my major to Psychology after I discovered that I loved learning about how the mind works and understanding human patterns. I thought I had my life figured out at that point, but at the end of last year, the Lord showed me that I was choosing Psychology out of fear that He would provide. This radically changed my life and made me recognize that what the Lord was calling me to do—lead worship—has really been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! In choosing Northwest, I have discovered something new about who God is every day because of my friends, campus pastors, and the beauty of this community. I am also a proud recipient of the Act Six Scholarship, and I love meeting new people! I have truly appreciated the different ways I have been able to get involved on campus.

Liv Sine
Hometown: Spokane, WA
Major: Exercise Science
Interests: Hiking, reading, music, and baking
About Me: I am a senior Exercise Science major and hope to coach and teach high school students someday. I love getting to work in teams that help empower others to achieve their goals and be the best versions of themselves, which is why I also love team sports of all kinds. Because the Pacific Northwest has so many amazing places to hike, you can usually find me on a mountain somewhere when I’m not at school!

Jazzell Tovar
Hometown: Mabton, WA
Major: Psychology
Interests: I love any outdoor activities that I can do with my family and friends such as going on walks, hiking, fishing, and visiting different waterfronts.
About Me: I am a Junior Psychology major and hope to one day serve as a high school counselor to help students recognize the endless opportunities available to them after graduation. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new foods, places, and experiences with my family and friends! My most recent adventure was ziplining at 12,000 feet over a lake! It was a blast, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
