Admissions Ambassador


Position Details

Department Traditional Admissions
Reports To Visits & Events Coordinator
Openings 20
Time Commitment Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, approx. 3-10 hours/week. Position starts at the beginning of the 2026-2027 academic year.

Position Summary

An Admissions Ambassador is responsible for representing Northwest University alongside the Admissions Office by promoting Northwest to prospective students, families, and schools while also helping with various tasks throughout the admissions process.

Essential Functions

  • Providing campus tours and assisting admissions staff for prospective student events.
  • Participating in call and text campaigns to contact prospective students.
  • Engage as a member of a dynamic team serving prospective students and providing timely support.
  • Travel on behalf of admissions to college fairs, high schools, and church events.
  • Clear timely communication with admissions staff about weekly availability.

Education/Experience/Skills

  • Must be a current undergraduate student at Northwest University.
  • Must have or develop basic knowledge of Northwest University programs, student life, and admissions requirements.
  • Previous experience in customer service, being detail oriented, and/or familiar with phone work is desirable.
  • Must be a team player, enthusiastic about the mission of Northwest University, and maintain a positive attitude.
