Data Coordinator – PA Studies (Part-Time)

Position Summary

The ARC-PA has granted Accreditation-Provisional status to the Northwest University School of Physician Assistant Medicine Program sponsored by Northwest University.

Northwest University is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Data Coordinator (Part-Time) for the School of PA Medicine. This position will support the program’s data management, assessment, and accreditation efforts by collecting, organizing, and maintaining program data related to student performance, curriculum outcomes, and program effectiveness.

The Data Coordinator will collaborate with the Program Director, Principal Faculty, Clinical Education team, and administrative staff to ensure accurate and timely data reporting in alignment with ARC-PA accreditation standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting program evaluation, continuous quality improvement, and institutional reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple data streams while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

The Data Coordinator must possess a meaningful commitment to Jesus Christ, the church, and the Gospel. We are seeking someone with a winsome, encouraging, and culturally engaged faith.

Part-time appointments are a minimum of 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week).

Essential Functions

  1. Collect, organize, and maintain program data related to student performance, course evaluations, and program outcomes.
  2. Support data tracking for didactic and clinical phases of the PA program, including exams, evaluations, and competency assessments.
  3. Assist with the preparation of reports required for ARC-PA accreditation, program review, and institutional reporting.
  4. Maintain databases and spreadsheets to ensure accurate and up-to-date program data.
  5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to gather and verify data for program assessment and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  6. Assist in analyzing trends in student performance and program outcomes.
  7. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with institutional policies regarding student records and data management.
  8. Support documentation and data needs related to clinical rotations and preceptor evaluations.
  9. Assist with survey distribution, tracking completion, and compiling results.
  10. Participate in program meetings as needed to support data-related initiatives.
  11. Perform other duties in support of the PA program as assigned by the Dean or Program Director.

Education/Experience/Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. Strong organizational and data management skills.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tracking systems.
  4. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to the Christian mission and values of Northwest University.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Experience working in higher education, healthcare education, or program assessment.
  3. Experience with data analysis, reporting, or accreditation processes.
  4. Familiarity with PA education or health professions programs.
  5. Experience with survey tools, dashboards, or data visualization platforms.
  6. Active member of a local church.

Working Environment 

  1. Work is generally performed indoors in a typical office setting.
  2. Some weekend/evening work may be required. 
  3. Position works with strictly confidential information.
  4. Frequently required to be in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.

Physical Demands 

The functions are usually performed while sitting, but may involve some amount of time standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting (max. of 40 lbs.), walking, carrying, reaching, stretching. The abilities of seeing, hearing and speaking are also required. 

 

Compensation

Based on education and experience, the position has a hiring range of $19.50/hour to $20.29/hour.
