 Eme M.

Eme M.

NUhope Student Therapist

Eme is passionate about people and strives to make others feel seen, heard, and understood. She believes therapy can help anyone, no matter what their stage of life is or their circumstances. This passion informed her journey through life and now through higher education in psychology. Eme transitioned into the mental health field from the corporate world and uses her acquired skills to assist people in finding themselves, reaching their full potential, and to find peace and meaning in their everyday lives.

Education

Eme has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational management with a specialization in human resources management from Ashford University and a Master of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Arizona Global Campus. She is currently a practicum student who is pursuing a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Northwest University, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2028.

Special Interests

Outside of work and school at Northwest University, Eme is passionate about her time spent with family, her children, and friends. Eme loves to listen to music, spend time outside, and challenge her own mental capabilities. Eme enjoys cooking, watching movies, traveling, long drives, trying new experiences, going to new places, and connecting with people. Eme finds joy in indulging with a daily hot cup of coffee or tea and goes for daily walks, preferably along the river, near a lake, or somewhere surrounded by nature.
