 Nata Z.

Nata Z.

NUhope Student Therapist

Nata approaches counseling with empathy, cultural awareness, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. She is passionate about supporting individuals through life’s transitions, helping them manage stress, explore identity, navigate relationships, and reconnect with their strengths.

Her counseling style is warm and collaborative, grounded in a holistic view of mental health that considers emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being. She works with individuals of all ages and backgrounds and has a special interest in supporting families and caregivers. In addition to English, she is fluent in Russian and Georgian and welcomes clients who would feel more comfortable engaging in therapy in those languages.

Education

Nata earned her degree in financial law from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and completed certification in project management and business administration at the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling at Northwest University and receives weekly supervision while working at NUhope Community Counseling Center.

Special Interests

In her free time, Nata enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, taking long walks with friends along the Kirkland waterfront, and exploring creativity through liquid art.
