New Student Checklist

We are so excited to introduce you to NU Connect through CampusGroups, a required app for NU students. This app serves to connect you with events happening on campus. It is a great tool for your social calendar and will help guide you during Welcome Weekend and beyond.

Through NU Connect, you can:

• Access the Welcome Weekend Hub and schedule.
• Complete your New Student Checklist.
• Introduce yourself on the Welcome Weekend Hub feed.
• Keep track of your Spiritual Life credits.
• Discover new opportunities to get involved in clubs and organizations.
• Join student clubs on campus.
• Connect with students who have similar interests.
• Promote upcoming events or find things to do on campus.
• View a campus calendar with all student events. 
• And so much more!

Complete Your New Student Checklist!

Once you are logged in to the Welcome Weekend Hub of NU Connect (instructions below) you'll find the New Student Checklist located on the menu of items. This is available on both the mobile app and the browser version.

This checklist should be completed by Welcome Weekend. Some items are optional while others require you to watch informational videos. Use this as a tool to help you proactively prepare for your time as a student here at Northwest University. 

How to log in on your mobile device:

1. Download the CampusGroups app from your device's app store.
2. Launch the application.
3. Scroll to find or enter in the search bar “NU Connect” and click on that hub.
4. Log in through Microsoft 365 by entering your NU email.
5. Enter the verification code sent to your NU email.
6. Click on Welcome Weekend Fall 2024. After Welcome Weekend, you'll switch to the Campus Hub.
7. Access the New Student Checklist on the menu bar.
