Li Lowry
Director of International Education
Li has lived all around the world and has over 16 years of experience with international exchanges in higher education in New Zealand, China, and now in Seattle. Underlying her experience is he passion to help international students and scholars succeed. Her years of experience as a DSO/PDSO/RO as well as her experience supporting international students and scholars enables her to provide exceptional customer service and guidance in the field of international education.

Kristin Webster
CELE Lead Instructor
Kristin has 15 years’ experience working in the field of International Education, including university admissions and credential evaluation, immigration advising, and teaching English to speakers of other languages. She received her Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from Gonzaga University. She currently leads the teaching staff in the International Education Department’s Center for English Language Education, and implements the educational side of its short term programs.

Angel Meeks
International Programs Coordinator
Angel is completing her M.A. in International Community Development from Northwest University, focusing on cross-cultural relationships within the Global Church. She has traveled extensively in South East Asia, Europe, and South America and lived in Japan and Sweden. She is passionate about welcoming new students to the CELE program and helping them adjust to life at NU. Her interests include reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Skye Cornell
Senior International Student Advisor/Assistant Director of Short-Term Programs
Skye is an NU graduate whose passion for international travel began at the age of three when she visited her grandfather in Scotland. In the NU business program she traveled to Asia for the first time, and was thrilled about the relationships that were formed between Chinese and American students. Skye’s favorite jobs always involve working with students. Most recently those roles were at NU as an RA and for two summers as a mountain guide in Canada with Young Life. Skye is passionate about helping students and sharing her home, the PNW, with them.
CELE Instructors
Our professors are professionals with years of teaching experience and academic degrees. They have teaching background in many different international contexts. They love teaching because they love students. Professors are available to tutor students after class if they are struggling. Our professors help students participate in active and challenging lessons.
