Spiritual Formation
Spiritual Formation is the process by which disciples become more like God and orient their lives toward Him. At The Summer Journey, we do this by studying scripture, opening ourselves to the work of God’s Spirit, prayer, gatherings and building Christ-centered friendships with mature leaders and like-minded peers.
Vocational Discernment
Vocation is so much more than a job or a career. At The Summer Journey, students will learn the meaning of God’s vocation and our vocation. As they dive deeper into the story of scripture, they will discover more about themselves and begin to embrace the purposes and plans God has for them in the world.
Theological Reflection
The bible is one unified story. If this is true, then we must know it, interpret it and share its contents with this in mind. At the Summer Journey, our team of teaching faculty and speakers will invite students to thoughtfully and meaningfully reflect on God’s story and its implications for how we live and see our world
